Uncharted 4 has been with us now for a few weeks and wow is it a great game. Let me start with a recommendation - do yourself a favour and try and play the original trilogy. They are great games int here own right and its a really good way to see how naughty dog have progressed the series to the pinnacle that is Uncharted 4.
The first thing you will notice upon starting your adventure its the graphics. Uncharted is easily one of if not the best looking PS4 game going. I wonder will there be a patch for the rumoured PS4K to increase it to 60 fps , maybe. But the single player games is stunning, so much so they included a camera mode built in. you’ll spend many an hour engrossed in what naughty dog have done.
But none of that would matter if the game itself wasn’t great. and thankfully it is both in terms of gameplay and story. Like with all of my ramblings i’ll steer clear of the story in general as i believe you need to discover that for yourself and at your own pace. Butat a high level it involves you trying to help out your brother and within that you are introduced to some characters from previous games. its a fitting end to the series and i felt really satisfied with how they decided to end the game.
throughout you play through you’ll come across some great set pieces and some even better easter eggs are in there. Keep and eye out for one pirate in practically especially if you are a slightly older gamer.
If you are a Playstation 4 owner its really a must own game. There's even multiplayer in there as well and the promise of single player DLC to look forward too.
